Trinity and St. Paul’s on the Hill have created a Strategic Visioning Team to discern together, in a spiritual, respectful, open, and collaborative process, what our relationship will look like in 2021 and beyond. For this process to succeed, we want and need everyone’s thoughts and feelings as we look ahead to the future. We are not entering into this process with any foregone conclusions – it’s up to the members of both churches to participate so that we can find the best path ahead.
We held three joint congregational meetings. Bill Cruse of the Kaleidoscope Institute facilitated the dialogue and workshops, and coached and guided the Team. The dates and topics of the meetings were:

May 19: Celebrating And Learning From Our History at Trinity
June 30: Understanding Who We Are Now at St. Paul’s on the Hill
October 27: Discerning Who, Where, And How God Is Calling Us To Be In The Next 3 Years

The Strategic Visioning Team, using input from these three meetings as well as other resources, will make a recommendation to the vestries by January 31, 2020. As God guided and inspired Abraham, Moses, the prophets, and Jesus, we ask God to guide and inspire Trinity and St. Paul’s as we undertake this vital project.
